I would be nice if the Government treated them as "David Korish" followers...

Reading minds, flying off buildings, etc...Ha sounds like a school I visited once. They make you sign 2 year contract, 2 months payment up front ($150/month) and claim the master can do such things, "Secrets," "best workout of your life" etc. They also have telemarketer type people hired at the front desk to sell you their advertised products etc. As far as I know, this guy is probably filthy rich.

That is the tip of the iceberg. His greatest technique is a flying/floating side thrust. Yes, you heard me right. A multiple attack flying/floating side thrust. I'll find the posts eventually. He has supposedly won an all asia Championdhip 5 times now. They are the true originators of bagua (bagwa).

Best story about this place..... I happen to be driving by one of their locations while a class is going on. I, of course, have to park the car, get out and watch. The instructor sees me watching and then comes out and tries to sell me. The best part was when he decides that he needs to demonstrate some sort of animal form for me on the sidewalk. I was tearing up from holding back the laughter. What a joke.....
Oh yeah, and they're a cult too.

Somebody I know in Seattle said one of his students was an ex-Oom Young Doer and paid them $25,000. He was going to film some things to help him prove his case that they are fakes. I can't believe it was actually $25,000. Even at $150 per month that's nowhere near $25,000 for 2 years. I've only been to the Bellevue school (just outside of Seattle) but that's where the guy who was instructing said he only had 2 years of experience.
I guess if people are stupid enough to sign up for $25,000 contracts you can't really do anything about it. I don't know how you can't prove they don't know martial arts. Have them show some basic techniques and if they work or not, I guess. Man, that would suck to have spent that much money.

I am a student of OYD....the movements are very beneficial to me and oter students...what ever h appened in the past happened. It seem like they were full of greed...all the money goes to the top! And schools only made very little to pay instructor wages. It saddens me that their system is so corrupted!
