According to Harjit Singh's two-part MAI interview with Dux, those who can confirm the Kumite exists include:

1) Joseph Sinda (a Warner Brothers executive, who even says he saw Dux fight in the Kumite)

2) Bill Ryusaki (martial arts master who also knew Bruce Lee)

3) Rigan Machado (one of the Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brothers)

4) Cynthia Rothrock (Hollywood martial arts actress)

Also according to the interview, those who can confirm Dux’s involvement in covert operations include:

1) Lt. Cmdr Alexander Martin, USN (ret.)

2) Former USSR Major General, Kornienko

(Dux also has a Soviet military ID card which Dux claims legal authorities have authenticated)

When did Rigan Machado say he knew about this super mysterious kumite? I train under Machados and they've never said anything of the kind.

A Warrant Officer II, who I worked for, told me that it was common among NATO soldiers based in Berlin to be offered Medals, uniform kit, from the Russki soldiers guarding the platform in East Berlin. He told me this circa 1979...so I'd imagine USSR Medals, Hats were not as rare in the West as some might think. When the Wall came down, everyone would have got a chance to buy CCCP kit. After all, they were damned poor (comparatively speaking) and...and...and...they're still coming....so much for the Triumphs of the East etc.

True, even more so in the early to mid 80s, also you would get USSR soldiers trying to sell you bits of uniform and badges on the train between Brunswick and Berlin.

Over on Hock's forum, I just had another chance to argue with Mr. Dux, who refused to answer my questions. Then he decided not to answer Hock's questions. Then he accused me of cyberstalking even though I registered and posted at that particular forum over a year before him.

It's the typical Frank Dux road show.
