I'd like to see the titles unified also, but I don't think it will happen. UFC just can't put up the money for this kind of fight. Silva gets between 250,000 to 500,000 for each fight in Pride. Randy is lucky if he gets a 150,000 for his fights in UFC. Now, I keep hearing that Pride is going to be doing a PPV in Las Vegas soon. Last I heard it was scheduled for September, but it seems to keep getting bumped up. I've also heard that UFC is having money problems, so could we see a possibility of Pride buying out UFC? I'm sure Pride wants a piece of the North American market. So instead of Pride trying to create a foot hold here in NA why not just buy the foot hold UFC has, and start exchanging fighters and titles to make the sport bigger? Lots of paths this could lead to, only time will really tell.

Pride should buy out UFC, and just chop the cage in half heightwise. How cool of a hybrid ring/cage would that be?
And if they wanna be cool, add spikes on the top of the cage so you could lift your opponent and impale him, just like we know the japanese audience wants to see.

North American audiences want to see it too.
We just don't like admitting it.Regards,

I owe my loyalty to UFC for being the first MMA I have ever seen. But I do enjoy watching Pride quite a bit. I would hate it if they fused into one organization, I just wish for the opportunity to see the "East vs. West" fight.
