    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Could it be? Couture vs. Silva...

What do you think? Do you think Pride and UFC could ever join together for a match with who is the absolute best?

I think it is a brilliant concept to put the champions from both organizations together to see who is the undisputed absolute best of the best.

after this last UFC, with randy practically calling wandy out, I think it could be a possibility.

It's a fantastic idea...and it will NEVER happen...unless they put on a joint event and made SURE there were a bunch of lopsided matches so each organization would "win" some of them...Pride probably would LOVE to do this, because they've got nothing to lose in the North American market, but the UFC DOES, if all their fighters got crushed, it would boost Pride's PPVs and hurt the UFC's...it would also give Pride a foothold in the NA market (potentially) that it didn't have before...and they could start doing shows over here in direct competition with the UFC.

Well, they tend not to do prescipted **** like that if there is not something in the works.
I mean, who the **** brings a champ belt to watch a fight?
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

At first I was thinking there is no way this will ever happen. But then it's likely no accident that Wandy had a front row seat and happened to bring his belt and an interpretor with him. Pride and UFC have a record of working together...so who knows...we may have the first real superfight in MMA.

The big question is whether thye fight in a ring or octagon. If I was Wandy, I'd be insisting on a ring.

Maybe DSE is courting Zuffa for a business deal, if not a takeover.

I would be courting for a ring as well since Couture in the Octagon is about as exciting as watching bamboo grow.

I hope it's a ring too, since Wanderlei's two best moves are illegal in the UFC (knee to the head, kick to the head while down).

UFC really doesn't have much to offer Pride, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is part of a takeover.

how would this owrk out though, pride thinks it's cheap to elbow to the head, UFC thinks it's cheap to kick while opponent is down... where is the inbetween

to take away the elbows is taking away one of randy's best weapons, to take away the kicking is to take away one of wandy's. I say make them both legal personally.
