    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Supplement Discussion, All supplements.

Not sure if this has been done already, but I'd figure I'd make a thread about supplements and people's experiences, scientific studies, etc. This includes all supplements, Creatine, No2, Protiens, roids, etc. It'd be helpful if people could list the name, the brand, where they got it from, and the hype versus the truth.

Even though it's been done before........

first off let me start by saying that It isn't hard at all for me to gain weight so results may vary.

creatine: I've used a bunch of different ones but my favorite one was cell tech. It might be all hype but that 70 gms of dextrose hits the spot. 1 12 week cycle gained 16 lbs. after cycle lost 5 or 6 of the 12

No2: I **** you not, I gained somewhere around 6lbs from 1 bottle and it has not gone away after 6 months.

I am currently contemplating weather or not to use a bottle of andro that I haven't opened and bought about a year and a half ago (exp date 12-04).

I used a blend of Creatine, Glutamine, and Taurine a while back. I gained about 3 lbs of water weight in the first week or so (which is remarkable for me because my weight doesn't fluxuate unless I do something seriously different from my normal routine). I felt that my recovery times were abbreviated due to the glutamine; however, it could have been a placebo effect.

In any case, I get the absolute best results from eating lots and lots of chicken and lifting almost every day. When I lift, I don't do major sessions but I do go until failure. I'll likely do the major push, pull, and squat (or deadlift/leg press combo) twice per week and more aesthetic stuff (bicepts, calves) once a week. I do traps and stomach twice or three times a week simply because I like the appearance and they seem to recover quickly.
