    I did full-range dumbell curls on Sunday but I don't think it was heavy enough since I wasn't failing. Sometimes I combine the motion with the Arnold press, but I rarely work the shoulders either since years of crappy technique has given me decent front delts.

    Based on those numbers and how I felt during the sets tonight, it looks like my arms are the weak point.

    Do you do any deadlifts? Deadlifts will work your arms as well, if not better than curls, at least for helping you improve your pull ups.

    try pull up with a neutral grip(??). both palms facing each other. as if you were squeezing someones head.
    I find that grip the best for isolating my back and keeping my arms out of the equation

    Due to the amount of walking I do on the job I rarely have the energy to do squats or deadlifts. That's the plan for this weekend though.
