    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    shin splint pain on forearms?

I ran cross country in high school and developed shin splints until I strengthened my calf muscles. Now in bjj my forearm hurt in a similar way to shin splints. Its not a muscle, tendon, or joint pain, it feels like its on the bone itself. Anything to do besides RICE it?

    thanks

    NSAIDS and time off.

I find stretching before helps too - it could be from gripping.

I was stretching last week the stretch was one working towards side splits. I over did it and damaged my lumbar muscle. Any tips on speeding up recovery?
