It was a mercy tap. Probably didn't want you to quit BJJ after two months of tapping nobody.
Just kidding, congratas.

I tapped to a wrist lock put on by a purple Osiris. Granted he had mount and had somehow immobilized my other arm. It happens, it can hurt and like anything else if you don't tap it can **** you up.
There is IMO a big difference between wristlocks put on by someone controlling your whole body and none of it.

Same thing happened to me, Dochter.
One arm was controlled somehow (don't really remember) and the other had the shoulder locked out while the wristlock was being applied. I think it was mostly lucky on the other guy's part.MY NAME IS ANTAGONY I SUCK AT COMBAT SPORTS KTHX
"blahblahblah, but I don't think I'm going to train tonight."
"Well if that were true, then I'd really REALLY want to come train!"

Here's a tissue!!!
Wipe up after you're done spewing on yourself and get back to training.

Meh. I tapped another white belt to a really sloppy triangle the first time I rolled. Really doesn't mean much. I was working hard for a submission (because I really didn't know what else to do). He was working on position and technique. Felt good at the time, I guess, but keep stuff like that in perspective.

My first submission, of all fucking things, was an RNC done to a blue belt.Captain's Log: Just a little update for all my TRUE and HONEST friends out there:
1) I am STRAIGHT! I am STRAIGHT! Get it through your thick skulls, numbskulls!
2) My name is not Ian Brandon Something.
3) Kacey is coming with me now. I have stolen her from the other Christian Weston Chandler.

It took you two months?
I think you need to train (in-between) classes, too.
Now, throw that tissue in the trash, and get back to training!
ps: I submitted a gjj guy - he was going for a some kinda leg thingy as I worked to escaped from his side mount, so I pinched his nipple until he tapped!
*goes back into his coma*

1st submission in 2 months?
And you just grabbed something and bent it backwards, not really knowing what you were doing?
Not much to brag about. Come back in a couple more months when you can pull off a clean triangle.

The only people I can cleanly triangle have less experience than I. Scratch that. The only people I can triangle in an incredibly sloppy manner have less experience than I.
That's with 8 months experience. :D
On a sidenote I almost tapped a guy better than me with a wrist lock on Tuesday, totally coincidental to this thread. I'd had my gaurd partial passed and was fighting to hold half. He'd (sloppily?) ended up with his arm kind of posted on my chest with the weight on the back of his wrist. I grabbed the back of his elbow and arched my back. Because of positioning I just barely didn't have enough leverage though. Except for lying down it would actually have been a textbook Hapkido wristlock too. That would have been ironic.
