    Royce Gracie vs Genki Sudo

    By Tape Lord

    Royce Gracie

Hello my friends, my postal connections in the Japan and the US are telling me that PRIDE have nearly signed a Royce Gracie vs. Genki Sudo fight for their show on December 31st.

Negotiations are ongoing, but the match is expected to be finalized soon.

More news to come regarding this in a few weeks.
As a rabid Sudo fan, I can't wait for this match

I guess this means Genki is going to be the next Sakuraba (which is incidentally who I'd rather see him fight).

After seeing him KO Royler I secretly wish for Sudo to go against all the Gracies, then Sakuraba.

Sudo is the most entertaining fighter on the scene currently.

I would love to see him take on any and all Gracies.

I just don't see it happening as they have to many marks against them and more losses will only further their lack of relavence in the mordern age of MMA.

Awesome! I'm definitely looking forward to that match. Too bad that's five months away.

    Why?

From what I've heard from you fight followers Royce probably isn't really that good compared to some of his relatives, Royler in particular.

    Rampage vs. Sudo.

    Sudo already beat Royler.
Out of the gracies, Rickson is supposed to be the best. Royce himself said Rickson was ten times better than him.

    Genki the next Sakuraba!

Its even starting off the same. Sakuraba beat Royler first then Royce. But the difference is in the Sudo v Royler fight it was a clean KO there could be no excuses like in the Sakuraba fight.

Without a doubt Sudo is the favorite to win. (Royce Nuthuggers opinons don't count)

That was my point. Sudo pounded the **** out of Royler who is supposed to be better than Royce.

Why would I care if he then destroys Royce?

Sudo vs. Penn (at least they're close in weight) is the real fight that matters. Though perhaps it is too early to have them fight. They both should have long careers.
