Myspace and Friendster are both cool...even though it is for meeting "friends" when I'm not dating someone exclusively, I've hooked up with quite a number of chicks because of it. The best is when a friends, friend from out of town...or even better is coming from out of state and thinks you are cute or something and messages you...then you talk some before they arrive...have a great weekend together...and never worry about it again.
Trust me...this is a good thing...of course it helps if you are either reasonable attractive or have a great personality. Of course the pity approach has worked pretty well for me as I have neither looks or personality. :)
