    Do it yourself Throwdown Kit

    Hey,

I know a while ago Bunny Yip had been asking about a throwdown flyer. I was just thinking about that and wondered, would a "Throwdown Kit" be a useful thing for the downloads area?

Basically it would be a .zip file contain the following:
    1. A Throwdown Poster (.PDF) that could easily be copied and marked up with info.

    2. A Throwdown Poster (MS Word) that brave souls could update with information about the event (vs. the PDF) print and distribute.

    3. A basic waiver template.

    4. A rules sheet that could be posted or given to all participants at the start. It could also include info about Bullshido.

    5. Maybe some sheet with tips for the host about how to advertise the throw down... maybe not.

Anyway, what do you think. Did I miss anything? I'd be happy to throw some stuff together.

I guess that was what I was trying to find out. Maybe there's no need.

When Bunny Yip did the last NoCal throw down he had wanted to hang some flyers at schools. Plus getting everyone to sign a waiver is always a good idea.

Basically, I was interested to see if there was a need for this sorta stuff. If there was it would be pretty easy to pull together once and be done with it.

i think its a good idea. ive been trying to organize a mcthrowdown for the past few weeks but have been hard pressed to find anyone within my area. the closest event is about an hours drive away. ive been posting on random forum boards all over cyber space but unfortunately it seems to pull from ppl all over the states and not particularly in one specific area. thats why this kit would be ideal for posting up at local schools, colleges, dojos, etc. near me. if u need any help, lemme know and ill see wat i can do.

Ok... things to remember to include:

    on the rules/ideas page
Rule 1 - Always invite Omega

Ok, I'm starting to work on a flyer. Anyone have Throwdown pictures they'd like to donate to the cause?
