    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    it finally happened

A Muay Thai fighter from thailand won the K1 grandprix. I was surprized to hear this is the first Thailand fighter to win.

That's K-1 Max, not K-1 Grand Prix, they aren't heavyweights, see the K-1 Max Predictions thread

I'm confused. 70 kg is small. Is he a mutant because he can win at only 70kg or is somebody implying that the Thai are really really small?

**** I'm 75 kg and am thinking I have to start pumping some serious iron just to even compete in MMA formatn never mind be a champion.

thai people are fucking small, not to stereotype or anything but average thai people probably only weight about 70kg, or within that area. That is why it is extremely hard to find heavyweight thai boxers, they are just a naturally small people, kind of the polar opposite of samoans.

most thai fighters are in the 60-65kg weight range. even 70kg is getting to the larger end of the scale. thai people are *really* small.
