Kpraxx - don't take someboby's word for it, try it in class and see.
That said IMO it might work against someone with no skill, but it won't work against someone who has clinch skills

LOL you win. I just love shoving my crotch at people! And the thought of getting everyone to do it makes me quiver in anticipation.

*sigh*

I tend to fight forward, even in my MT stance, which is bad for my sparring but makes me a much better overall fighter than some of the MT guys I know. They have no concept of going to the ground. It's kinda scary.

Of course, my Kru could disassemble me in any situation he cares to envision. That's even scarier...he's in his 40s.
