I see guys mess this choke up alot.Same as with many chokes guys just lock it on and squeeze.Don't.Think of the arm that is going around him as a rope.Keep your muscles loose.Now get it as deep as you can.The bicep should be very deeply into the neck BEFORE you squeeze.If possible go palm to palm prior to getting your hand on your bicep.Once palm to palm you can pull the encircling arm deeply through.It takes up the slack.After you roll over think about trying to keep him as flat as can be.Keep his shoulderblades on the floor as you get to your knee's.Realise that as he is flat you are trying to BEND his neck.
In a variation you can stay palm to palm and use your forearm to pop his elbow inward.This known to good wrestlers as a way to break a guy down.It will tapple him to his back.Stay palm to palm and backarch into mount.Very powerful choke. -
