CORONA - A 23-year-old bodybuilder will be arraigned today on charges that he imported and sold thousands of dollars' worth of steroids, police said. Nicholes Bradley of Corona was arrested by police Friday after agents of the U.S. Customs Service intercepted a package from China filled with 500 grams of liquid and powder steroids, Corona Sgt. Jerry Rodriguez said. An inspection by local postal officials led police to Bradley, Rodriguez said.

After Bradley was arrested, police searched his apartment in the 1800 block of Baywood Drive and found 900 syringes, more than 200 glass vials each filled with about 300 milligrams of steroids and 8,000 yellow, blue and pink tablets believed to be steroids, Rodriguez said. Police also found packing material and shipping labels. Authorities estimated the drugs' value at $40,000.

"He had a whole operation going," Rodriguez said.

Bradley, who now works as a personal trainer, said he was associated with Ultimate Fighting, police said. Ultimate Fighting is a mix of four Olympic sports played inside a cage, said Terry Trebilock, owner of King of the Cage, one of two major national Ultimate Fighting shows.

"It's a combination of boxing, kick boxing, Olympic judo and freestyle wrestling," said Trebilock, who is also part-owner of Cardio Fit Sports Club in Rancho Cucamonga. He added that he has not heard of Bradley and that steroids are not something Ultimate Fighters use. "Bodybuilders use them, but not Ultimate Fighters," he said.

Bradley will be arraigned today on charges that he was in possession for sales and importing and transporting of steroids, Rodriguez said. He remained in jail Monday. Bail has been set at $200,000.

Of course Peedee claims that he, in the past, took steroids which validates some people's claims that he's full of it regarding MMA competition.
