According to this article most of Butterbeans fights in boxing were actually fixed and I have heard that his fight with Sudo in K-1 was fixed. Im pretty sure the same goes for his Pride "fights". Everything that guy does is a fucking show, good I hate that fat ****.

Again, I've got to ask why they'd bother to fix a fight whose outcome was anyway inevitable?

    Well, that showed me.

I'll call Oscar Wilde and tell him the terrible news that he's been surpassed in acid wit shall I?

If Pride is fixed, they have the best actors and fight coordinators in existence. Btw, Sakuraba didn't fight Hunt. That was Yoshida.

There were one or two possible works (Takada v. Coleman stands out) early on in Pride around 10 years ago. They wouldn't do it now, they'd have too much to lose. Also, everyone would know, especially the experts that scrutinize the events. Nowadays, anyone who thinks these are works are either brainwashed, oblivious, ignorant, or some incredible combination of the three (thx James Silva btw)

How long have you been watchin mma buddy? It's always very exciting when you first start. I'm envious.

EDIT: Just noticed this is a very old thread. Ignore what I just said.

I think your right most pride fights are fixed. I would also like to say you have a good eye. Also in one of the black belt issues they did a interveiw with pride were they admitted to fixed fights not all but some. Sorry don't remember the issue but it was in the last 2 yr. Do i like pride yes but keep in mind pro wrestling is also huge in japan also if you know what i mean.
