Sit up and post your arms behind you so your arms are straight. Then start rocking from side to side. He will have to post his hands on the floor to maintain balance. You should be able to then use this to get an underhook on an arm.
Saulo does this move in one of the Mundials from a couple of years ago.Last edited by JohnnyS; 7/01/2004 12:24am at .

The elbows to thigh will work on a few people but mostly noobs. If your opponent is doing this drill on you for a period of time, your thighs will be conditioned to accept the elbow grinding. Hence it will not work in the long run, especially if you are used to taking inside thigh kicks.

in most cases this when this happens to me,if he is grinding in to your thighs with enough persure to break them than his hands are not controlling my hips or my biceps. if he is not controling those it is generally easy to sweep him or at least make him defend a sweep and stop thinking about leaving bruises on my thighs. another thing that i have had work is to sit up and grab him and pull him down on to you. it is hard to produce enough pressure when you are locked against the guy's chest

This is what I'm taught (hands on hips, elbows in thighs, knee in tailbone, other leg posted out). Still can't get it to work though...Originally posted by Osiris
