    I learned a great Osoto from one of my instructos. A Masters World Champ.

    It's when grips are in, and you are being stiff armed. Step right with right foot (assuming right hand lapel grip), plant left foot and hook with right heel onto uke's right calf, turn body so that stiff arm on your lapel slides off your chest, pull in and hop till you are in position to throw. I love it. :)
