They do, but nowadays only in Savate rules matches; ie. lots of Savate guys fight in Kickboxing, but they don't wear the shoes then, because it's against those rules...Originally posted by Guy Mendiola
Yeah, I've heard that the Savate practitioners wear shoes, it's sorta what they call "old shoe" boxing or something in France.
Whereas in this case it seems that the Japanese are barefoot. -
