and...thanks for asking Pat....I'm as OK as I'm gonna get. the surgury went VERY well. I'm in a tremendous amount of pain because I'm walking about 20 or 30 times more than I should be, but I own a campground, and it's memorial day weekend. nuff said.

After 6:00 today, I am hibernating for 2 days.

If all things go as planned, I'm hoping to attend. I'm going to be starting a new job mid-june -- an exempt position with travel, etc. But barring anything unforseen, I should be there.

Also, Ed, I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. Make sure you get some much-deserved rest following this weekend.

    J-kid

I felt what I felt. If it dosn't fit into your pre-conceived notions, or rocks your little boat. well....I don't care a rat's ass.

I still am skeptical, but he can do this any time he wants to.....I can't do it.

One of my friends is an Aikido guy. He also did Judo early on. His name is Les, hes @63 years old. He was doing some randori with my buds, and while on the ground, he had what's basically a side mount. The fellow he had "pinned" was young (34) and a strapping big boy. Les told him that there was NO WAY he could escape..and laughed. Ron could not get him off....he tapped.
(Rons a TKD black belt and a BJJ blue belt) Les did not do a thing, just 'covered' Ron. While he held Ron down, he explained that he had gone "heavy".

When we were done, I asked Ron why he tapped, and he said "Les got so heavy, I couldn't breathe" Now how the hell does he do that? He calls it "the judicious application of Ki"

    Once again:
I am a sceptic. Most people that talk about "ki" are doing parlor tricks.....FEELING the application is very different.

We'll have to "agree to disagree" because there are far more important things to argue about.

"Agree to disagree" is a cop-out. Besides, what are these "more important things" that you want to talk about? What's more important on the Bullshido forum than talking about the BS that is spewing from someone's keyboard?
