    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Halo on Xbox

We just picked up this game this weekend. I've been playing with 11 year old son. Halo has this 'cooperative' mode were we both can play at the sametime. It makes for some pretty cool dynamics. He's much better at it than I am so I tend to follow him around helping out however I can. He also drives the Warthog better than I can so he'll drive and I'll man the gun turrent. I also find myself throwing myself in harm's way to protect my son.

All in alll this is a cool thing.

Yeah I hear it's great. Still too expensive for my tastes.

You can play cooperative mode on-line for free using gamespy tunnel.

    Halo is great!

stupid! (i don't have an XBox or the money for it right now)

BUT Halo is worth getting the system for!
(if you are into fun shooters)
I really like the excellent co-op mode, striving for a common goal through conflict brings people together.

What else is fun? Blowing up/ killing your own men, as they are mostly useless in harder difficulties. Throwing a grenade onto the other person, and the other person runs into enemies and we laugh like idiots! Getting out of a Banshee vertically, landing safely then having the Banshee crush you! Running around with a rocket launcher then shooting the gound so you go flying, looks like you stepped on a big ass mine!

Using the Needler to repeatedly shoot dead enemies so they have these bright pink explosion even more! Killing one guy who had 8 grenades, then blowing them all up and creating a huge chain explosion. Blowing enemies into the abyss, then throwing grenades after them and jumping in! Trying to get vehicles to places you shouldn't be able to!

    my son's 11 and I'm 47... I think we are doing good ;)

Though I did shoot one of our own guys the other night because my son wanted his sniper rifle.

Hear anything good about Halo 2?

"Hear anything good about Halo 2?"

    www.ign.com
    www.gamespot.com

I don't really care, I'm not into psycing myself up for games, then I'd get disappointed.
It will be out but then I'll be back out of town at U. (And stalking SORW) So I likely won't be able to "enjoy" it.
