Oh, SLJ I agree. It was just an opportunity to make a self-disparaging remark.
Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog

SLJ- At least Geof Thomson had his share of real fights and knows what he's talking about. His books are awesome!

I think Australia should annexe New Zealand, taking all the L&P drink, all the icecream and some of those giant trees the Maoris used for their canoes. Burn the rest.

What am I?:
I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.
I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

Wastrel, I know :)
Freddy, G.Thompson's are by far the best self defence books I've read, mainly because he spends a lot of time dealing with adrenaline and the effects of it on your body in the seconds before it kicks off.

Hey SLJ theres alos the books by "Animal" Mark Young (did I spell it right?) that are pretty good and a few others that deal with adrenaline rush. I'm glad theres at least someone who understand the adreanaline rush and how alot of fights starts off.
