Elvis's karate school returning to Crosstown

    http://www.commercialappeal.com/stor...own/475814001/

The Tennessee Karate Institute, co-founded by Elvis back in 1974, although it closed in1978 after the King passed away. The original instructor, Patrick Wrenn, plans on re-opening the studio for the first time in over 40 years.

The article goes on to say Bill Wallace trained there.... never knew that!

Elvis started with shotokan karate, then Taekwondo under Kang Rhee, then American Kenpo under Ed Parker. When he died he was an 8th degree blackbelt in Kenpo. He did train with Bill Wallace. There's a movie called the New Gladiators which showcases Elvis, Bill and some of Elvis entourage.

Moves like Jim Belushi. All that's missing is the bee costume.

My theory is that people who think Elvis had decent martial arts skills are the same people who think Trump is a decent president.

It all kind of has the same flavor.
