Here, go educate yourself on what the concept means:

There's one definition of "moderate" in the political spectrum. Your alternative definition ties back to the same reason you posted the NewsFakes.com link, and the subject of this thread. You don't think CNN is a moderate news site. Your reasoning is based on a fabrication you concocted (that CNN leaked documents to the DNC, when it was the DNC who leaked the documents and CNN was unaware.

No wonder you never post here. You're too busy wasting your life on the rest of the Internet sending people links on logical fallacies, something morons do by the millions on a daily basis when they can't convince someone that the bullshit they just posted is "true".

So it must be my logic, and not your shitty links and supporting evidence, right?

Trust me, nobody on Bullshido.net needs to see your lessons on logical fallacies. The fact that you posted it exposes you as a worthless pedant on this topic.

Your supporting evidence for CNN not being moderate is now Van Jones getting upset during an election? A CNN political contributor?

Wow, tears from one person = CNN isn't a moderate, credible news org. I had no idea your mental powers of induction were so advanced.

Do I need to go pull 8 years of every political op-ed contributor on Fox crying and blaming Obama for everything?

Yeah it's kind of the point of this thread. There's a huge problem right now with inflammatory, fanatical news, and it's not FOX or CNN who are the problem. Even FOX has lost a lot of its "wingnuts" for being too moderate compared to Breitbart, and THAT site is only the tip of the iceberg if you really study this phenomenon.

Once again, you can always identify the more extreme sites: their stories are baked with political codes and labels. If you read a news story and it contains those codes, and you can't remove them without changing the story...it's bullshit political news, ie CNN is a Marxist front working for socialist Obama (right wing fake news), or Sean Hannity blaming liberals and "the far left" for AIDS, lava, and McDonald's running out of chicken McNuggets. Alex Jones supporting the harassment of Sandy Hook survivors, and "Pizzagate" lunatics with guns.

At some point, the politics become not nearly as important as the lunacy being peddled, and it all starts with unsubstantiated claims with no evidence (the antithesis of Bullshido.net).

1bad65 posted, hands down, the most inflammatory rhetoric in this thread yet. It's practically the mirror image of whatever nutty left-wing extremists the ballgame shooter was into. I'll bet he didn't even bother reading the NewsFakes.com link, because it simply fit his bias.

I'll repeat it again, that's how fake news, or partisan news, works: every story tickles your confirmation bias. There is no moderation and removal of political agenda. If you hate liberals, Muslims, Democrats, Clinton, Pelosi, Reid....you will jerk yourself off the NewsFakes.com or Breitbart or NaturalNews.com all day long. If you hate the GOP, Hannity, the Coultier, etc, there are plenty of websites that will do the same.

CNN, on the other hand, is provably political moderate AND credible. Just not according to people who don't like facts, and prefer incendiary news.

That is always the goal when people take the position of 1bad65 and devil. The point is to muddy the waters and make you do work to prove a usually self evident fact... like CNN is not fake news or equivalent to the real sources of fake targeted news on social media.

When nothing means anything and everyone lies and no source is trusted, people are left with emotional reactions and their personal biases to guide them instead of making informed decisions.

The 1bad65 and devil duo are doing a great job showing the how this works.

The simple question I pose to them both are

"Which news sources are credible outlets?"

I would recommend further discussion on fake news to be had here
No you are fake news ! You are FAKE NEWS! No YOU ARE FAKE NEWS!

There's a time honored axiom in the editorial world. "ONLY ONE SOURCE??? GTFO"

It implies a single source (especially an anonymous one) is the easiest source to dismiss.

It's the reason why correlating a number of independent sources is critical in the academic and journalistic realms.

It's also why so many conspiracy nuts (e.g. Birthers, Sandy Hook hoaxers) cite each other's work. They craft each others' "evidence", creating the illusion of multiple sources, without having to ever go near an official source (e.g. court records, police statements, testimony).

My first contribution took only to a hop, skip, and jump to NewsFakes.com, a site a certain BS member I won't name decided was THE place to go to get proof that relatively trustworthy news sites weren't "credible".

Today, it's fake news about science, your heart, and the ("nutritionally illiterate") American Heart Association is your daily enemy.

Why is the AHA the enemy of this hit piece? Because this news does not originate from people with the USA's best interests in mind.

Scarf up all the coconut oil you want, bitches! The AHA is wrong about science, AGAIN!

the AHA’s propaganda effort is thinly veiled. Almost no one is fooled, and only the most nutritionally illiterate people believe anything the AHA (or the AMA, for that matter) has to say about nutrition, health or disease prevention. Any organization funded by Big Pharma is, by definition, nothing more than a group of prostitutes and shills for pharmaceutical interests.

In fact, holistic-minded doctors* are raging against the AHA’s ignorant, dangerous advice that’s actually designed to promote heart disease rather than prevent it. Along those lines, I’m publishing an exclusive commentary piece authored by Jack Wolfson, DO, FACC, author of The Paleo Cardiologist and founder of TheDrsWolfson.com. Here’s what he has to say about the AHA’s mindless attack on coconut oil…
