Dunno. What difference would it make now? After 30 or more years? One name is as good as another. It could be called "Flying Monkey ****" for all I care I wouldnt join a school just because of the name. It's the system that has to interest me.
    I must not fear.
    Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
    I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
    Only I will remain.

Turing test - to see wether or not I'm like Hannibal, "a computer "(posisbly an unintelligent cpu.) :P
    "Training = pain." - I said that.

PizDoff when drunk: "I'm actually MOST pissed that my target for the evening got drink...then I gave her my Bullshido Canada hoodie like a gentleman because she was outside with not much on...did I mention she barfed twice when I got our jackets...steaming barf is kinda fascinating..." - PizDoff.

You should post this in the general forum.
Talking about it back here is BS. This ia about expousing frauds to everyone, not just the BBC.
Oh, and if they would have upped the contact level on me, they would have gotten one warning, then the first guy would have gotten a broken arm.
But I am a bigger prick than most people.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

    Hedge,

Not to hijack a thread or meant any disrespect to you, however, where is the responsibility in producing skills when you say that your training prior to BJJ was crap? I thought the general notion of Individual > Training Method > Style places responsibility on yourself and not necessarily the style.

    Thanks.

Individual > Training Method > Style

All three of these variables are important in the equation of what makes a good fighter, but the above relation is clearly incorrect. Take a number of highly tallented individuals in the early UFCs that got destroyed by an unthletic Royce Gracie for example.
You say what about my rice?

    Hapko3 is correct.
Although we can debate wither it was Royce's style ot training method that brought him victory.

Rice - you can get Thai Jasmine Rice for 12-20$ for enough for 2+ mos if you hit an Asian Market or two .
