We also have much weaker jaws than other great apes like gorillas and chimpanzees, because we use tools to cut up our food and then also the cooking.

We also possess another very unique ability that no other animal has, which is the ability to throw projectiles, namely the spear, i.e. a pointy stick. Other primates can throw, but none can perform an overhand throw like the human. A group of humans bare-naked in say the African wilderness, armed with nothing but spears, can hunt and kill pretty much any animal on Earth, including much of the now-extinct megafauna that used to exist. Most predators/carnivores are limited in what animals they can hunt size-wise. But humans are not because we do not use physical strength to kill in the first place, we used distance running and spear throwing. The main enemy of the elephant and its relatives like the mammoth and mastodon in history have been humans. The spear is all humans need to kill all animals, but using our brains and tool creation abilities, we created better weapons, such as the atlatl (spear thrower) that allowed us to throw the spear from much greater distances, bow-and-arrow, sling, bolo (rope you throw that spins and wraps around the legs of an animal), and of course setting traps, and then modern weapons.

Note hunting animals with just spears thrown bare-handed was very dangerous oftentimes and got a lot of people killed, but it worked well enough to allow enough humans to eat to propagate the species. Women giving birth naturally is the same way. Very painful and highly dangerous with a huge mortality rate for both women and babies, but it worked well enough to propagate the species.
Women giving birth naturally is getting fairly common and is only dangerous if there are complications., My wife gave birth at home naturally with no problems to her or the baby and she said it wasn't ****.

My younger sister came out blue and not breathing, because the umbilical cord had become wrapped around her neck during labor.

When it goes south, it often goes south hard, and the presence of an intensive care unit and NICU can make a big difference.

i read a statistic that Ninety-five percent of low-risk women could give birth without medical intervention. About one quarter want to, but only 2 percent actually do.

that aside, natural birth does not indicate that there are no medical personnel present. you could give natural birth in a hospital. Its just all about no drugs, no labor induction, and no c-section.
