Never trained wrestling and morote geri wasn't really one of my throws but it just made sense to 15 year old me to get under the punch quickly with that technique.

I always knew it worked, but didn't get enough newaza until I started cross-training with some Judo. Until then, it was "ground techniques" or suwari-waza, mostly holds and pins from sitting in seiza, reaching for kodachi, that kind of thing. Rolling with some of our judoka and wrestlers was an eye-opening experience for me.

Dude that footage at 17:00. WTF is going on there? I'd like to know the context, if there is one.

The Latin Kings were punishing one of their own members after he failed to kill a rival gangster.

Yeah. Accusations of him being a Nazi were due to:

    1. His shaved head.

    2. The "heil" he did when entering the cage for the first time.

    3. The swastika tattoo on his shoulder.

He's probably not a Nazi, in reality. The "heil" was likely a Savate salute, as seen here (11:30):

I read the swastika was part of his Buddhist tattoo, too. Weird, but yeah.

Maybe Savate should change their salute. LOL
