    Thickening Wrists?

Hi. I got really skinny wrists and I wanna thicken them a bit. Sometimes when I hit the heavy bag they'll "buckle." I mean that the punch will keep on going and the top of the wrist will hit the bag too. Any exercises other than knuckle push ups to strengthen them?
    Thanks :)

Genetic will dictate your joint structure, if you have small joints like wrists, knees, ankls and such, there is only so much you can do, strengthing your wrists is MORE important than making them "thicker".
Wrist curls like the one Mike put up are excellent.
I would try to use a decent wieght that would allow you to do no more than 10 reps and more like 6-8, to build up the sstrength and to get some "size" going too.
Remember, to add size to one area, you prteey much have to gain weight all over.

Concentrate on strength for now and when you hit the bag, tape your wrists for added support and try to keep excellent allignment when you strike the bag.

6 months ago, my wrists were 6.5 inches (16 cm).
After doing Taiji for 6 months, they are now almost 7 inches (like 6.9 or so....17,3 cm)

And I'm 24, so it's probably not from growing.....
