As long as it doesn't fizzle interest by then. Diaz is gonna need some ice packs tonight.

I really don't care for Diaz but you have admire his resilience. He is one tough dude.
    Very entertaining fight.

McGregor had me sold this time so I put 10 on him. I listen to Frank Mir's Podcast, and usually side with him, but thought he could do it this go.

Still very close, and nothing surprises me anymore, so wasn't going to waste any more than 10!

I initially had it 3-2 Nate, but after reviewing r2 I would say the fight was a tie. Conor took 1,2,4, but 3 should have been a 10-8 for Diaz. Also, Conor's ability to adapt and gameplan is magical. He completely overhauled his style in a matter of months.

Hang on. 10-8 for diaz? It was a convincing round but what did he do to earn that?

He came fairly close to finishing Conor and landed a huge number of strikes.

Nah. Phased him a couple of times, easily outstruck him but no 10/8 for me.
I like both fighters but was cheering for Nate .

Surely Nate getting dropped in the second gives that a 10/8?

For those who missed the event

Main card was a succession of finishes until the main event. I agree Conor won but loved how Nate couldn't take him down and how smart he fought.

And now McGregor is getting gifted a LW title shot for going 1-1 vs a divisonal gatekeeper, winning by close decision. Aldo threatens to retire in fury.

Good to see that, Zuffa or not, the modern UFC is still run by fucking cocksuckers. Frankly, it's getting so I'm seriously considering stopping watching it anymore - it's more spectacle over substance than at any other time I've been following it.
