Not as terrible as I thought is was going to be. I would actually do that sneaker course.

Didn't intend to make a review, was looking for a review of the program.

Thanks for that link. I have been wondering for years now why people who don't do martial arts always think Krav Maga is the best, even when they can't even say the name properly. Somebody even once seriously called it "Krav Mango" when talking to me about how they heard it was the best.

    Krav Mango.

I did go to a free 2 hour seminar on it at a local convention a few years back. Was not terribly impressed, but it was just a seminar.

Would like to see some serious sparring from them, and am having a hard time finding that.

I don't train weapons, but I still know that those knife drills are garbage. The overhand icepick is used almost exclusively by drunk women, real knife attacks are "sewing machine" stab sequences from a low hand position. Also, you generally don't see the knife before the attack. They are spending a lot of time on dubious techniques that will never see use. Unarmed vs weapon is the last of the last resort stuff; the goal is to feel like you gave it the old college try before you get killed, rather than having any expectation of success. These guys are drilling so the attacker deliberately fails every time. That kind of false confidence can be lethal.
