Damn interesting.. i am a beleiver in the MAX principle of weight lifting.. the only thing the body responds to i think is stress.. and the more the intesity the better.. (with the more rest needed after)

Not ALL powerlifters are fat. Usually the ones in the super heavy are usually pretty big but thats because the added weight helps push more weight.
Powerlifting is a sport with weight classes (like MMA, boxing, etc) You wont find a "fat" powerlifter in the 110-242 weight class (as a rule)
Why are all superheeavyweights like Cabbage and Eric Pele fat? Because they weigh 300 lbs+ and it's very hard to carry 300 lbs of ripped muscle. -
