This is a small BJJ club in Muswell Hill, North London. It is run by an Eduardo GonCalves brown belt. It has good quality instruction and good structured syllabus (one set of techniques/position a month rotated through every year). Its a friendly club, the guys are not meatheads and the atomosphere is good.
I would say that it is not a club geared towards competition ( though the guys from the club do and are encouraged to compete) but more towards learning bjj and exploring the art.
Numbers at the club can dip but ussually there are at least 6 -7 guys on the mat at every session. Putting the mats away can be a pain but the instruction is good, the sparring is hard and there is regular cross training with the judo club that shares the same venue and Eduardo's guys from SOAS.
Training is on:
Mondays: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
Thursdays: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
Saturdays (No-gi):12pm - 1.15pm
Alexandra Park School, Rhodes Avenue, London, N22 7UT
