UFC 173: Barão vs. Dillashaw
I'm more interested in Cormier taking out Hendo and Lawlers bounce back than the main event. Well I guess there is that small question of will Barao's streak be broken but I highly doubt it. Here's the full line up.
Weight class Method Round Time Notes Bantamweight Renan Barão vs. T.J. Dillashaw [a] Light Heavyweight Daniel Cormier vs. Dan Henderson [b] Welterweight Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Ellenberger Bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki vs. Francisco Rivera Lightweight Jamie Varner vs. James Krause Preliminary card (Fox Sports 1)
Lightweight Michael Chiesa vs. Francisco Trinaldo Lightweight Tony Ferguson vs. Katsunori Kikuno Bantamweight Chris Holdsworth vs. Chico Camus Lightweight Al Iaquinta vs. Mitch Clarke
Fu Hung Hsieh remains Fu Hung Hsieh and Kung-tzu Yu remains Kung-tzu Yu.

Cormier so is it still considered wrestle smothering when you're punching the guy at the same time? Son of a bitch I underestimated TJ Dillishaw but not only did he win he dominated wtf happened to Barao? I can understand him losing but being beaten by a thousand miles wtf...Fu Hung Hsieh remains Fu Hung Hsieh and Kung-tzu Yu remains Kung-tzu Yu.

I'm hoping UFC gives Cormier another fight before facing Jones. Just one more.

Agree with that. Henderson is good, but beating him convincingly does not merit granting you a title shot.
Ideally I'd have Gustafson and Cormier face off, or Cormier vs Teixeira for the right to a title shot, but who should Jones fight while they settle the rankings then? He pretty much has to either rematch Gustafson next or fight Cormier, I don't really see anyone else deserving the title shot ahead of them. Evans rematch would be cool, but he hasn't really done enough to warrant the shot lately and he's also injured.
Also, not particularly enamoured with Cormier's post-fight shittalking, which I have no doubt will be completely ignored by MMA fans. Unlike Jones, who cannot open his mouth without somehow being FAKE and ARROGANT or whatever it is Sherdoggians call him.

Henderson (and the rest of the competition DC has faced) to Jones is a big step up and less than ideal. On the other hand I don't want to see too much more time pass. DC is 35 and with planning and injuries and time between fights things can get pushed out too fr.

cormier rubs me the wrong way with his post fight "im the greatest" stuff, no doubt he is good but honestly beating up a barista and a 43 year old middleweight? obviously they are gonna give him a shot soon but i would still like to see him against someone at 205 that might actually give him a fight.
also you guys can piss off their is no more room on dillashaws nuts for you. i am firmly holding those tufty hairs. i totally wrote him off, told my wife it was gonna be an even worse mismatch than DC and hendo, instead i ate humble pie and loved every minute of it. **** was dy-no-mite.

Already heard the other nutriders trying to come up with excuses.
"His head wasn't in the game."
"He wasn't ready."
"Something wasn't right."
"He didn't train properly".... blah blah blah.
Granted I think he was stunned by an uppercut earlier, but he NEVER appeared right after the above punch. Alex will probably agree, every once in awhile a fighter gets in such a damn good shot, it fucks the other fighter up for the remainder of the match.

Great fight by Dillashaw. He looked amazing.
