Master Wong should be a hype man for a hip hop crew.

I'm having trouble determining exactly what you are asking...as I can't understand trying to reconcile this:

That's a pretty low bar for a self-defense oriented martial art to aspire to...and if your bar is that low, you likely won't be seeing a lot of alive training.

I've never seen alive training, period. I've done Aikido for god's sake, and just static punch kick combos in Muay Thai. I've rolled thrice now in BJJ classes, that's all the experience I have in any martial art involving resistance. The reason why I started this thread IS BECAUSE is I have a low standard, I can't tell if his **** just looks flashy or is street applicable.

    Ok. Gotcha.

Then you should know that this stuff is only street applicable if you are fighting guys in the street who really don't know much about fighting. And unless you are a crazy fucker with a lot of back up, you don't want to go around to bars and test out your skills. The next best thing is training against people who know how to fight...and competitive fighters are the best place to find these guys.

I think its just doing it for the sake of the video (it's staged). In a real life situation, your hands are going to be the last thing people will attack.

And to answer your question, yes, I have seen his other videos and he does some pretty neat stuff. I'm not sure is pure Wing chun though. Gahh...too bad I can't post links here but check out his videos against boxing.
