Your recommendations for martial arts movies with the slickest fight scenes?

Hey Bullies; need your recommendations for martial arts movies with the sickest, slickest, maddest fight choreography I may not have yet seen!

Basically the following happened, and I'm couch bound for another week or so, good time to get some much needed movie watching done before my sick leave forces me back to the realms of digital magnates:

So I exploded my ankle/leg at the last BJJ comp, basically tried an inside sweep only to get my foot stuck as the guy fell through on counter throw, twisted my ankle 100 degrees clockwise (my toes touched the mat before my ankle did, surreal feeling), tore my supporting foot ligament, and stress fractured my fibula (few, tibia was safe, leg wasn't too deep).

Basically I've grown up with Bruce Lee, fond of old school Kung fu films, I think I've seen all the late 90s mid 00s Martial Arts Jet Lei films etc but tell me if I missed any! Loving some of the Chinese ones, went through Tai Chi Zero/Hero and Legend of the Fist (Donnie Yen); also the Ip Mans etc; I have Flash Point (Donnie Yen) lined up to watch and thought I'd get input!

The Raid 1 and 2 are pretty fucking excellent if you haven't seen them.

Eastern Promises definitely tick the sick and mad boxes for it's fight scene.

I second "The Raid" and "The Raid 2".

I enjoyed "Ong Bak" a hell of a lot.

Let's see, I'll go old school here. Roadhouse has great fucking fight scenes. And basically any of the early Seagal ****. Yeah, him. Great fight scenes. Bloodsport is good (about the world renowned super hardcore fighter Frank Dux - he of the 70 something mile per hour round kick) but don't watch any other Van Douche movies.

And while you're at it, you need to make sure you've seen all the 80s movies with Stallone and Arnold. Not martial arts movies, but awesome anyway if you're on the couch. Commando, Cobra, that sort of ****. Great stuff.

I would add Marentau to that list.

    Watch the Rundown.

Not strictly martial arts but a Hong Kong choreographer did the action.

Also Kickass, just for the hit girl fight scenes alone it's worth it.

Plus some of the older Jackie Chan stuff like armor of god and wheels on meals (great fight scene with Benny Urquidez in that one).

Just about any Jason Statham flick will do as well. And if you happen to grab one with no real action in it, like The Bank Job, it's likely to be a better movie anyway so you can't go wrong.
