I just love when a guy who hasn't posted in eight months shows up suddenly and posts one out of context Facebook screenshot and presumes he has made a grand statement about the state of Bullshido as a whole.

So Monsieur is saying throat strikes are safe? Confusion here. Is not the response from the screen grab correct?

Delivering throat blows would be easier for an alive trained fighter who sparred. That's the real argument against street bollockry. Sure illegal or/and dirty techniques can be powerful, but a trained person will deliver them better having trained with resistance in an alive manner even if not directly training the dirty moves.

A kick in the balls hurts, and can be debilitating. Someone well trained in kicks who's sparred will be able to better place the foot into the collection of soft dangly objects in the trousers than some guy who punts a dummy 1 hour a day all fat and immobile.

Same for eye pokes and everything up to and including biting. Following rules and training with aliveness is harder that just demolishing someone with obliterative rage. It doesn't mean dirty moves or attacks to soft and vulnerable targets don't work or preclude real training in practical high percentage techniques that are legal in sd context.

I feel like people just don't watch combat sports lol Eye pokes and groin strikes occur accidentally at such a high rate because the targets are so close to legal targets.

It takes a pretty small leap to make the inference that training the accuracy, speed and power of these strikes would allow the slight targeting or tech readjustment necessary to demolish someone's vitals lol But I suppose that would completely demolish the streets too deadly for aliveness argument
