yeah i had a subscription to their website previously and i have seen many other videos as well.
Seems like I was doing a mistake when I was doing a mistake when I was in that particular position, ending up too far and not controlling the other leg very well. now it's good :)
But I guess there aren't many berimbolo topics here so maybe we can use this for discussion...
For example, has anyone tried the more "miyao style" berimbolos yet? It has been working better for me so far
By the way, for the position I have explained before, if the foot is not so deep the second technique here might work very well as well:
So I was playing with the Berimbolo the other night focusing on Gianni's DVD. There is a Berimbolo variation in there I have seen before from Rafa Mendes that increased my finishing percentage. The twister hook/leg ride. I already use this a lot to take the back from other positions. So for me instead of trying to finish the standard Berimbolo, I switch the angle of my inversion and wrap the leg with a twister hook.
Actually countering the Berimbolo with a Estima Lock has become my go to.
