If only there were a style that taught one how to use their opponent as a cushion against the hazards on the ground...

Parking lots are a piss poor place to fight where I live, not because of glass though it's because of our shitty drivers. It's hard not to get ran the **** over just walking from your car let alone fighting.

I think most fights actually occur on the grass at backyard cookouts. I have no sources or data, just a hunch.

That is while I wear leather everywhere I go. Since I get into fights in parking lots all the time, the leather protects me from the glass and needles. I will be upgrading it to asbestos lined leather to protect against lava next. And then, no can defence!I feel like you eye-bawlin' me, dawg!

I was thinking about the Youtube douche while driving around some parking lots during work today. A few questions popped into my mind:
1. In regards to broken glass, don't store owners usually have someone sweep that **** up? Most of the areas I drive around typically have fairly clean and well-maintained parking lots. I've been to some shitty neighborhoods with debris-strewn streets and what not, but the garbage usually isn't spread evenly across the pavement. It's not like you have to be Chris Angel just to get out to your car.
2. Let's assume for a second BJJ really was just about "rolling on top of each other" like a couple of Bichon Frise puppies playing with each other in a dog pen. Maintaining dominant position and all that **** is irrelevant. Would broken glass even be that much of a threat? Let's say, for example, you end up grappling with someone in the isolated patch of blacktop covered with the remnants of a Marshmallow vodka bottle some fat guy smashed the other night. How much damage would the glass do? Mick Foley and the Necro Butcher seem OK with rolling around in thumb tacks and other sharp **** for a living.
