I've read this book. It was interesting from a general point of view, in terms of some of the specific techniques etc. However, a lot of them, from memory are tehy type of thing that isn't really very feasible unless you specialise in that sort of thing (and have done for a long time).
I must add though, that I found the costumes off putting.
Some of the text itself was cliche riuddden yet somehow comical.
Search at http://www.usa-people-search.com/ord...hony&ln=Bosoni Showed only one Anthony J Bosoni.

Personally I own two of his books. Gouzao gongji (attacking nerve centres) and guge gongji (breaking bones). I bought them because I liked the concepts, but there was a lot of filler material there. Maybe the first 30 - 40 pages in Gouzao gongji and the first 60 pages in guge g... would have been enough, after that he uses an entire page (sometimes two) for each technique, filling a whole page with a vary basic drawing of the technique.
Yeah. I would suggest finding a more legitimate book.
I don't know if all of AJB's (?) books are like the two I've read? but at least in these two books there are a few pointers.
First of all he bases everything on WESTERN anatomy not the meridian stuff you usually find in Chinese MA books.
Secondly he does not -- like nearly every other Asian MA book I've read do -- refer much to what would in this case be Chinese culture, not one name for any techique, not a bit of history, no "monkey scratches ass" = "jibberish" translations.
As for the filler material I talked about earlier, if you combined both books and included only the useful illustrations the remaining book would be less than 100 pages! (gouzao g is 168p guge g is 188 p)
For those who have read them, are his other books like this too?
with those uniforms how could you deney the integrity of the book. If you want to learn kung fu just watch jackie chan's "Half a Loaf of Kung Fu" http://www.discas.net/img/jacket/IB009730001.jpg
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. A entire website dedicated to the destruction of a philosophy, an Art which we each profess to be a part of. I was unaware that any one of us were qualified to judge what we apparently know so little about. Just amazing.
Welcome to Bullshido. Resurrecting a two year old thread isn't a good start. Can you add some back ground or refute some of the negative comments posted on this thread?

Take a gander at the site and one can make up their own minds.
Seems he likes patches and stripes all over his gi, yet claims to be teaching a kung fu system.
I think there is something rotten in Denmark........

Man, I posted in this thread years ago. I knew there was something familliar about the thread. Brings me back...
Seems I was right though. It IS a white guy.
His MO seems to be slapping together his own mulligan stew of whatever is in at the moment. "Lian shi kunf fu" during THAT craze - "Long system combative arts" during THIS craze...
BTW I need to add; whatever is in at the moment, provided it does not involve too much contact or other discomforts.
