The Fine Details of Gun Safety
You know there are a lot of little details about gun safety that too many people just don't know. It's almost hard to blame this guy who sounds like he really understood the basic principles of safely handling firearms.
This also demonstrates how inherently unstable and dangerous guns can be. In a lot of cases, if you PULL the trigger of the gun, it will SHOOT a bullet. Many guns are even designed with this exact purpose in mind.
In any case, this is a really good lesson that we can all learn from. The article actually inspired me to stop demonstrating the "unloadedness" of my guns by mimicking a suicide head shot. For now on I'll point the gun directly at my groin when showing my friends it's not loaded.

You had me for a second. I skimmed your post and read the article. I was sitting here trying to decide if you were serious or being an ass. Well done.
See, that's why guns really need to be banned:
Not child deaths.
They should be banned for idiocy.

It would have had a better effect if the link previewed the actual title of the article. It's fucking misleading as hell: "Man Accidentally Kills Self With Gun During Demonstration On Gun Safety"
This really made me laugh. Like it was some out-of-the-blue accident that he put the gun to his own head and pulled the trigger.
Good ****! :)

Actually, it sounds like a very convincing demonstration of gun safety. Too bad there's no video. There'd be fewer firearm-related "accidents" if prospective gun owners were required to watch a video of some moron blowing his brains out to impress his girlfriend.
Give the man a Darwin Award.

I piss off gun owners with my beliefs. So, I tend to let the anti and the pro argue. I'm right in the middle.

Guns are fun. I think everyone, who is acceptable, should be able to own them. How they purchase, own and use them is where I tend to piss of pro-gun advocates. For a simple explanation, "anti" and "pro" are extremists to me. Then there are the people in the middle who are gun owners.
For example, Scrapper is a gun advocate. He uses stats and studies, in a logical manner, to make his point. He may get emotional or snarky, but he doesn't bend facts to suit his needs.
A Pro-gun extremists would be this

Well one thing is for sure: his girlfriend knows what not to do with a gun.
