Guys please dont make this is circus, I'm really curious what wisdom we can gain from having a couple of hundred people answer this with honesty. If there is a special place for polls ,let me know, if not lets do it here. Let me go first...why thank you sir.
Try to give just your top 3 reasons. And maybe a 1-2 sentence history of the arts you took. Newbies can just list the problems they are having at the moment.
I started training 30 yrs ago in Shotokan Karate. And travelled thru many Internal chinese styles settling today on Ju-Jitsu(aiki) and Silat. Will narrow it down shortly.
#1-In my mind 6 weeks is like 6 months, so I was always getting bored and going to another teacher. I guess I have A.D.D.
#2-I have chronic low back pain/injury for 30 yrs and insomnia and cannot deal with arts where cardio is as important as principals and tactics.
#3-When the Internet came out, and I bought my first PC at age 38, that was the time I should have nailed one system down and devoted my life too it but all the wonderful teachers I met left me feeling bored with the class. And then I fell into a hole in the Internet and forgot you cant be searching for women and training at the same time. Then I moved to Florida 10 yrs ago and had to start looking all over again. Im 55 now, I better be sure this time.

Maybe it's time to grow up.
MABS is for serious business. This belongs in YMAS or trollshido.

First off, Hungry Joe is right, this does not belong here. Read the rules of posting.
Secondly, Hungry Joe is right. You need to grow up. If you want to train, train. If not, don't, but don't bother us with your stupid shitty poll.

Wow, this is even less funny than your seagull fight thread. That, in itself, is a noteworthy achievement.

Under the influence of what illegal substances did you conclude that this was a MABS thread?

Want to be a master already? I recommend the condensed MFMA course. Grandmaster Daw will get you squared away with a 10th degree in hardly any time at all. No cardio, no problem.
