The more I think about it it's really moot. "Chuck Liddel" is the star, and his real name carries a lot more weight that his nickname. He could choose a new one or just nicknames completely and not be really affected.

Dean Malenko has used the nickname "Iceman" for years in ECW, WCW, and WWE. If this no-name wrestler didn't make a fuss about Malenko when he was an active wrestler he isn't going to have much of a case against a MMA guy. If anything Malenko should this retard.

I didn't know that pro wrestling had anything to do with fighting...

"Iceman" George Gervin, "Iceman" Richard Vince, "Iceman" Parsons. Iceman has been used by athletes since the '70's. This case won't hold.

And the fact that this guy attempted to have NHB career should also disqualify him.

he will be laughed out of court

there's been many different people have used the name ICEMAN

ther'es bobby drake in the x-men, dean malenko and Jean Yves Theriault or however you spell his last name. i'm sure there's way more but this is off the top of my head

so he can sue anyone he wants, the judge will laugh at him AND take his trademark away since it is infringing on Marvel's Trademark AND there's prior art

cause personally when someone says the iceman, i think of Jean Yves.

iceman and sugar are both common nicknames for boxers
