I don't know which is worse, your recent obsession with opening new ninja ground fighting video threads or the fact I keep reading the threads hoping for some new insight.

Couldn't these videos all have been posted in one thread at least?

I'm worried for you, man. Isn't there some more constructive use of your time than searching for, watching, and then reviewing ninjer grappler videos? Are you injured and can't attend training? Has there been a recent bad break-up? Are these threads a cry for help?

The scary part are these are videos from the last year. If the Bujinkan is still making them, I will still make fun of them. As for the recent influx of Ninja thread. I haven’t posted any content really in 3-4 years and I promised Phrost I drum up some content. I admit I started with some low hanging fruit, but Ninja grappling always delivers.

No worries, I am still happily married and get plenty of mat time.

Videos of Ninjas being ridiculous, some of which includes the head of the Bunjinkan as well? Keep them coming because it's crap like that that reminds me why I visit this site.

Yeah I'm kinda with Psycho Dad, there's a certain entertainment value in this kind of material, and unlike plasma I'm entirely unmotivated to find it on my own.

The idea that these are recent videos though... It just boggles my mind.

As far as I am concerned, one of the internet's primary functions is to capture picture and video of ninjas.

Before the internet...video of ninjas was extremely scarce, due to their expert espionage and mind control skills.

Thank god for Bullshido. It created a Ninja Safe Zone where I can come and discuss ninjas without fear of retribution by the Supreme Ninja Empire.

I love ninjas. But I was trained to fear and mistrust them from years of watching GI Joe and Chuck Norris movies.

On a side note: I remember when poster Dr. Tsun Tsu came out with all these alleged counters for the armbar but actually asked the question, "How you keep your opponent's elbow from hurting your groin when you do the armbar?"

one thing I find kind of interesting is that, considering his age, Hatsumi was probably doing Judo right around the time Helio Gracie was... maybe slightly later even.

He also apparently had a karate background...

So he meets Takamatsu- who was supposed to be this former bad ass (never seen any proof of that by the way)- learns a whole bunch of Koryu styles (yeah that's another discussion, but point being he learned something from Takamatsu) and this is what he ends up with.

Techniques that would get you crushed and choked out by a judo or bjj white belt.

I mean, if you're doing a koryu style and know you have holes in your game but part of the reason for learning the style is preserving the tradition then so be it. But if you're going to go ahead and make up crap anyway then for the love of God don't spit in the face of the Judo Shodan you once competed with.

Or at least- you know- look up some bjj on youtube and rip that off... or even if you don't wan to rip it off then at the very very least pay a little attention and see why your made up bullshit won't work. If you've apparently forgotten every god damned thing you ever learned in Judo.

    Was a long time ago.
