    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Portland, Oregon

I'm visiting Portland and Welches the end of April with my wife and kids. Where should I go and what should I see?
We are considering relocating to the area and insight on places to live is appreciated, too.

What kinds of things are you guys looking to do?
    Kids ages?

I've only visited and never lived there but this place is awesome.
They are at a couple of farmer's markets too.

My girls are 7 and 10. They're up for almost anything. My wife has some appointments do I'd like some fun stuff for me and the girls.

Nathan Orchard at 10th Planet Portland is an awesome jiujitsu instructor, if you're in a mind for any training while you're out there.
    The fool thinks himself immortal,
    If he hold back from battle;
But old age will grant him no truce,
    Even if spears spare him.

I am so new to grappling it would probably turn out pretty silly trying to train for a day, but I may check out the gym. Thanks

They are incredibly accommodating of newbies. Also, the Japanese Garden is pretty neat. And I bet the kids will love OMSI.

Washington Park and the zoo perhaps.
I hear the new elephant exhibit is nice.
There are a some pretty cool museums.
Mt Hood still has snow and you'll be headed that way anyhow.

That was recommended by my cousin, she said to make sure you check out groupon etc. for Portland too.

    I'd go here too: http://www.portlandfarmersmarket.org/

    A few more possibilities,
Forest Park hikes, Powells book store.
A little outside of Portland: Multnomah Falls, aviation museum in McMinnville.
Walk around shops and restaurants: NW 23rd, Pearl district, St Johns, SE Hawthorn.
Maybe for the kids: Waffle Window, Grilled Cheese Grill.

Here are two Bloody Marys from Feastworks btw.
