Reading Plasma's chronicles of his journey through the martial arts in YMAS has inspired me to ask this question:
Does anyone know if a martial art or ruleset currently exists that incorporates Judo with Kyokushin rules? e.g takedowns (with or without leg grabs) with bare knuckle striking that restricts punches to the head. And is there anywhere in London that I could do this?
The closest thing I'm aware of is Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu, but I think it is only available in Finland.
Maybe Daido-juku Kudo could be available in your area. Not exactly what you're looking for but worth a try.
My first thought was Kudo as well. But they have face punching. Doesn't Ashihara and Enshin have extra emphasis on takedowns compared with normal Kyokushin rules?
There's a group that run's bodyshot-only MMA (along with K1 and points kickboxing) tournaments down near Brighton (I forget the place's name) I know there are some other clubs from London who compete. Its no-gi though.

You might want to talk to Eddie Hardon on these forums, I know he's a traditional Ju Jutsu player and might be able to point you in the right direction.
