Number of personal accounts after the OP: zero. Sounds like the booj.

Bujinkan has an economy of movement that I have never come across in any martial art, absolutely nothing is wasted.
    LOL.

    Seriously...

"I was employed as a plain clothed store detective. I had observed a male select and conceal on his person over $700 of designer label clothing. He left the store and I approached him to make an arrest. We were located on the corner of two CBD streets on a busy Saturday morning. The male refused to return and proceeded to remove the garments and drop them to the sidewalk. I asked him to pick them up, but at that time he lunged at me with a right punch. I rocked back into natural kamae and felt his punch fly over my head. I sensed the next strike and I rocked in naturally without stepping, and struck his suigetsu with my left elbow as he was in full swing with his left fist. Needless to say, he flew back into a shop window."

All the stories on that page read like they were written by the same person, or at least edited by the same person. Compare them to posts by different people on BS.

I went down the rabbit hole again to look in to Gillian Booth, who is a high ranking instructor in the Bujinkan.

She was a legit Australian National Judo Champion in 1984.
    http://www.judoinside.com/judoka/vie...gillian_booth/.

Now heavily invested in the Bujinkan. Represented Australia in a few international shiai as well. I saw claims of having represented Australia in several world championships. I found this that backs up that for 1982 at least.

    http://ro.uow.edu.au/cgi/viewcontent...ext=uracannrep on page 13.

No doubt really as to her Judo credibility.

Here is an interview with her.
    Part 1:

    Part 2:

    Interesting perspective on her part.
    Falling for Judo since 1980

    There'even a thread about disappearing.
    http://www.reddit.com/r/Bujinkan/com.../disappearing/
I was a little disappointed when I found out that by 'disappearing' they really meant 'stepping aside'.
