Krav is no more shitty in the U.S. than it is in Israel. If I'm wrong, show me the good Krav. I. Am. Waiting.

i'm not talking about the quality. I'm talking about Krav being The Next Big Thing - like karate was in the 60s, kung fu was in the 70s, ninjutsu was in the 80s and so on.

It should be apparent to anyone by now that the best use of one's time, when cross-training with krav, is to leave out the krav.

In all fairness though Gene Lebell was quite the fight coordinator and I sure the hell wouldn't have wanted to tussel with him when he was younger.

But I think your question here has already been answered.

From what I understand, the original Krav Mag-ician developed his style from a mix of judo, boxing and wrestling. So... ignore Krav, do Judo, Boxing and Wrestling.

If you work security, and want to learn how to defend a knife, and pull your gun than Krav is a good addition to your base. If you are a soldiar and needs to know how to use your weapon in km scenario, again it is good. They also teach some good escapes that you wont get from boxing.

That is the FB of one of the top KM here, he also runs a MMA school, been doing that for years. I'm sure you can post on his page a question about our friend here..
Also, i think learning with him is as good as KM gets.
They train alive. Yes they basically train MMA, and one of the MA they do is KM.
I think KM has adopted the best techniques to defend knifes etc. It is far from being a complete MA program that will make you a one on one fighter. If you want to be this kick ass mo fo..do MMA.
