Style: Judo noob, injured guy.
Last night my Judo club had a party and handed out belt promotions. It was a great time, I got my green belt - now I can can go full BJJ blue belt syndrome and act like I know everything. Hanshi Toney Raven joined us and gave us plenty of good things to think about. The one that stuck with me the most was:
"It took me seventy years to get where I am now, and it all came with hard work, so work your asses off."
We also had our first promotion of a female to brown belt our club has ever had and promoted 4 new shodans, which is pretty cool too.
Back to working hard at not sucking as much.
