So thats how he keeps the quality up! How many full sentences? How many sweary words? How many redundant unqualified opinions? He looks in good shape, he should train a martial art or something with all that time on his hands.

Good point, in fact, we should bookmark that one for the "what do you sport guys do against multiple opponents?" nimrods.

That's an even better point. It's only 130 seconds long so won't challenge their attention spans either.

After sifting through those videos I think this guy has a psychological issue...fear of losing a fight to anyone who isn't a traditionalist making him question his entire life and training. Sad really. Besides that, talk about egocentric...who videotapes themselves 24/7 like that?

Rewatching the fellow with the freestanding punch bag, I'm assuming, with him having a video promoted by Sifu Lee, that he's supposed to be a top student of some sorts or maybe even a teacher. I find it quite scary that he constantly telegraphs his punches. It suggests that they don't teach you not to telegraph punches and the such...

He lists himself as "todai" which is usually translated as "disciple" among CMA'ers (and where we get the English insult "toady"). For some, the taking on of a disciple is a huge deal, and not done lightly. In Freddie's case, I think he gets hard whenever someone offers such a sycophantic display.

I see, no real experience with CMA, knew that Sifu was basically the equivalent of Sensie and that's about it. Though yeah, it still scares me. His disciple hasn't learned basically one of the first things you learn in just about any martial art. Hell even when I was training in TKD I was taught that telegraphing your strikes is generally a bad idea.

To be honest, I'd be happy to try out a CMA if my work meant me moving to some place where a nearby CMA dojo or whatever the equivalent is available. Though until then it's the local freestyle Kickboxing/ Muay Thai gym down the street from me.
