Part of the take-home lesson there for me is that I in fact WAS looking at him, and I shouldn't have been. If I hadn't let my gaze settle on him a little too long while I was walking through the parking lot I wouldn't have had to take my chances covering for it. I invited him to that monkeydance, and I was lucky that he let me rescind the invitation.

I wish I could say I broke the habit afterwards, but I honestly haven't. I look at people a lot, just kind of, I don't know, watching whatever they're doing. I always have. I guess it's better for my attention span than staring down at my smartphone like all the kids do these days, but it's still kind of problematic.
It seems to me that the Sanjuriu Martial Art is not in guestion, but, rather the character of Mr. Galt.

I feel your pain. Why do guys pimping their sisters always overcharge?

I'd say to him "Does that pick-up line work with girls, cause from where I sit, it is a fail."

Those guys tend to sample the goods themselves; they reasonably believe it is worth the price.

I just smile at him and keep looking. When he comes over, my associates bag him from behind and we all carry him back to the shed.

I like the team approach, it guarantees victory.
